The minimum quantity required to make screen printing your bags cost-effective is at least 100 bags with the same design (the bag size does not affect this), since at this quantity, the cost of the screens and photolithographs will be spread out enough that it won’t significantly affect the final price. Printed Bags: Cut-vinyl prints are an excellent way to add value to our custom bags, as they hold up very well to washing, don’t fade, and the designs remain very sharp—especially custom designs made with cut vinyl. Since it’s a type of plastic sticker (vinyl) that’s then heat-sealed with a heat press, the finish is completely smooth. Unlike ink, the vinyl sits on top of the garment’s texture, so it appears neither grainy nor dotted with tiny spots of a different color, as can happen with screen printing or embroidery.

Prints using industrial textile vinyl such as FLEX, FLEX TURBO, or POLI-FLEX are the best option for small orders of custom shirts—that is, orders of 1–25 units—since their unit cost would likely be lower than that of the two previous techniques.
